Visited for breakfast on Friday and liked it so much we went back again on Sunday. The team there generate a family friendly community feel to their lovely café and are accommodating and attentive towards allergies too. The food is lovely and beautifully presented. Well worth a visit if you're walking along the Thames path. Can't wait to return!
Lovely staff, lovely cafe, perfect location and very good food! It’s a bit expensive, cost just over £50 for 2 breakfast and 2 juices and they add service charge to their bill. But I guess it’s the location that also jumps up the bill. The only thing I can say I don’t like about the food, is the sausage. It was a bit dry and didn’t like the taste but everything else was amazing! ‘The American’ breakfast today was very tasty, but my last visit I had ‘the Avo’ that was amazing!! Very delicious juices too. I’m a new regular ♥️
Lovely local Independent coffee and restaurant. Super friendly especially to the four legged customers. Owned by a lovely couple and staffed by people who have worked for the Cafe for years. Homemade cakes and the Best Fish and Chips in London. Been a customer for years. Have no family link to the business, but feel a member of their Family. 5*
The River Garden Café is great! Highly recommend whether it be for a quick coffee as you walk along the River Thames, or a full meal. The pancakes are a favourite! The food really is high quality and far superior to usual cafe food, it is restaurant quality. The best thing however is the staff. The River Garden Café is family run and the care they put in shines through. They also run great community events such as a local charity quiz night and a Halloween party. We feel so lucky to have this great place so close to us, and Noodle (our dog) loves going to see her friends (Martina) there!
We had such an amazing experience this Bank Holiday at River Gardens Cafe. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed—the owner was absolutely lovely and so attentive, not just to us but also to our furry mates 🐶🐶, which made it even more special. I ordered the Garden Royale on the owner’s recommendation—wow, it was delicious! Such a unique flavour, slightly tangy with a subtle beetroot hint in the hollandaise sauce. You can really tell care and creativity go into the food. The pressed juice was also fantastic—I had the orange and carrot one, super fresh and refreshing. The view overlooking the river is beautiful, and combined with the amazing service, it creates such a relaxing atmosphere. You can really feel that the owner genuinely loves her customers and her business, and it reflects in every detail. The décor is unique and full of character too. Definitely worth a visit—we even grabbed a coffee to go before leaving. Can’t wait to come back! ☕✨
