FARM

In recent years agriculture in the capital has expanded from flowers in a window box to vegetables on a rooftop. FARM: was opened in March 2011 with an aim to show Londoners what can be achieved with an empty space. The once abandoned shop in Dalston has been transformed into the city's first indoor farm, with current projects including micro fish farming (aquaponic), an indoor allotment and a chicken coop on the roof.

The shop is open for you to come and look around but there is also a café (FARM: shop) where you can buy some of the produce grown in store and there is also a venue space available for hire for around 100 people.
