Mount Street

An increasingly influential and desirable street in the heart of Mayfair, in recent years a retail boom on the street has seen some of the most desirable brands up and locate to Mount Street. Which brands? Think Marc Jacobs' London flagship and his complementary collection, Marc by Marc Jacobs housed in a separate store. Jewellers Cartier have a store there, and high-end footwear is represented by Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin and hotshot Nicholas Kirkwood. Balenciaga opened their first stand-alone London store there - it's worth checking it out if you're in Mayfair, even if it's just to stop and stare.
