London Art Tours
London
With professional tours showing the architecture and art of London, London Art Tours’ principle aim is to provide highlight tours, showing most of the leading collections, buildings and walks of historic districts. Tours are designed individually to each client, focusing on particular interests including different artists, styles, periods and collections. The professional guides hold the prestigious ‘Blue Badge’, issued by the Institute of Tourist Guiding, the badge signifies that every guide is fully trained in each aspect of London’s history and life in the capital.
Highlight Tours give the opportunity to explore a world-class collection or a historic building in London, ensuring to include what the casual tourist may miss. The tour consists of twelve collections and buildings for which a detailed tour can be given. These include The British Museum, Tate Britain, Courtauld Institute, Tate Modern, Kenwood House, Tate Modern, Leighton House, Victoria & Albert Museum, The National Portrait Gallery, Wallace Collection, St Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey.
Combination Tours provide half a day of exploring two major collections or buildings, connected by a walking tour or trip along The River Thames. Time is allowed for refreshments with this trip and detours can be taken for particular interests. There is a choice of 10 combination tours available, with the tours starting at St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Britain, Courtauld Institute, The National Portrait Gallery, Westminster Abbey, Leighton House and Wallace Collection.
