Baden-Powell House

Museums

Now known colloquially as B-P House, Baden- Powell House, owned byThe Scout Association, houses much memorabilia and public art dedicated to Baden Powell. The collections include an original Baden-Powell painting by David Jagger from 1929, Baden-Powell's Last Message to Scouts, and a three- metre high granite statue by Don Potter.

The exhibition 'The Story of B-P' uses personal and original drawings and letters by Baden-Powell himself, such as the original of his Last Message to Scouts, Laws for me when I am old and several first editions of his books.

Baden- Powell House is located in a prime location- right in the middle of Exhibition Road, SW7- and home to the V&A Museum, Science Museum and The Natural History Museum. Why not team a visit to Baden- Powell House with one of the larger London super-museums?

Or better yet, why not stay at Baden-Powell House during your stay in London? The upper floors of the building contain 4-star rated 180 hostel bedrooms, offered at reduced rates to the public. Baden- Powell House also contains a restaurant, auditorium, conference centre and various exhibition spaces. You can even buy Baden- Powell House merchandise and souvenirs from the Reception desk.
