This specialist museum near London Bridge Station, where you can learn about wine with a glass in hand in a very different approach to the pleasures of drinking, is an innovative combination of entertainment and education.

Vinopolis offers visitors a strikingly visual wine tour through exhibits of the world's major wine regions, as well as tastings, shops, restaurants, galleries and vast exhibition space all under this two-and-a-half-acre roof. Set designers from the West End were hired to provide themes for the various vaults.

While the price for entrance might seem quite pricey, you are given opportunities to taste and buy at the end of your visit. The Vinopolis shop also stocks a range of wine- associated food and merchandise such as gourmet snacks and corkscrews.
