This beautiful restaurant is a total hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff were so warm and accommodating, especially Mohamed who went out of his way to ensure everybody's needs were taken care of. We were seated in the pink room, which had a fantastic, vibrant ambience that made the experience even more special. To top it all off, every dish we ordered was incredibly delicious. Highly recommend!
If you’re thinking of going just go! The serving team are SO LOVELY! It’s so rare to get such good, warm, friendly service, you feel like you’re with old friends! I visited for the first time yesterday on one of the hottest days of the year, everyone was so nice they gave us a fan to cool us down and they made our food and drinks so fast and to good quality. Things do add up quickly so I would say £50 per person is a good start if you are going to have food, drinks and shisha. The toilets are immaculately clean and the restaurant team flow together effortlessly. Do be patient with them as I can see this place getting busy and majority of them are Muslim so they may be fasting. I will definitely be back again for the chips and the chicken shish wrap. And maybe some lamb chops. Also they have a good 2-4-£15 on cocktails. The only thing that would have made it better was if they were playing some RnB to go with the vibe of how sunny it was and the aesthetic of the restaurant.
We had a wonderful experience at Akoya today. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Mohammed, the manager, who was very professional, welcoming, and attentive. He made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were comfortable throughout our visit. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back.
We booked a private room months in advance for my best friend’s baby shower, only after setting up in the Pink Room to find that it had been double booked. Unfortunately, the way this was handled by the manager was disappointing. Rather than taking ownership, he deflected responsibility, was dismissive, and didn’t resolve the issue in a timely manner. A lot of time was wasted trying to rectify something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Although the situation didn’t completely ruin the event, it was unprofessional and unnecessary stress on what was meant to be a special occasion. With that said, I cannot praise May, one of the waitresses, enough. She was exceptional, patient, attentive, calm under pressure, and genuinely went above and beyond for everyone. Her customer service was 10/10, and she handled things in a great manner. She is truly an asset to the restaurant & whatever you’re paying her, triple it. She is a hard worker & is the only reason I would recommend this place. The food was great, so compliments to the chef - not a single negative thing to say on that front.
Honestly the best restaurant and venue , we hosted my cousins graduation dinner in their private room! All I can say is they were amazing! The customer service was out of this world extremely facilitating and helpful. A special mention to May who was a server for the night she was incredible and all the other staff such as Ahmed and Mohamed were extremely helpful and kind! The food was delicious especially their starters and the venue was clean and spacious. All I have to say is great things honestly!!
