Pauline, our server, was absolutely lovely! We had breakfast dishes of her recommendation and it was all phenomenal. Very prompt with the top ups on my chai too! Lovely spot. The high quality you expect of Dishoom!
Never have I had a restaurant make me feel so special on my birthday. My partner chose this restaurant and I’m so happy he did. Every single thing on the menu was delicious in its own way, we ordered a lot of things including starters and multiple main and three desserts, and every thing was so good I couldn’t choose my favorite. It was simply incredible 🤍 Pauline in particular made my evening, and paid so much love and care to me and my family. I will always remember the kindness she showed me on this birthday 🤍 thank you Pauline 🙏 see you soon 🙏
Had a great time here the food was so amazing! Our waiter tuesday night a male working the area near the bathroom was actually AN AMAZING WAITER and sooo attentive. Food was so yummy. We had the chili naan (great starter) 8/10 vegetable samosas 10/10, the fried chicken (so spicy but I loved every bite) 20/10. the chicken ruby a solid 10/10 and my favorite the tandoori chicken was out of this world omg 100/10 get it so yummy! Enjoy!
We walked in off the street without a reservation and were seated immediately. Pauline (our host) greeted us warmly and made some recommendations that were spot on. Definitely order whatever she (or any of the staff for that matter) tell you! And no questions, order the chilli cheese garlic naan bites. We’ve eaten some fantastic meals on our travels, but when they stand out they end up becoming part of a short list of places we frequently wish we could dine at again. We got the tandoori chicken, crispy sweet potato, onion bhajia, broccoli salad… and this meal has now entered our top 10, maybe top 5, of all time. Pauline was a star! The food and drinks were fantastic. A perfect experience.
This was our favourite restaurant during recent holiday to London and perhaps our favourite Dishoom Permit Room. The food was excellent (as expected). It was made extra special by the amazing staff there. Pauline who served us was so friendly and attentive, simply charming. The manager, Grace was so helpful and even spent time talking to us during our wedding anniversary meal for two. It was a lovely thought and we were even given a card. Thank you all for making the evening so special and memorable. It goes without saying the food was delicious!
