Like stepping in to an old country house with food that'll make you want to move in. It's a bit pricey but the quality of the ingredients and the skill in the kitchen more than justify it. The two course set menu is quite good value and there's a good selection to choose from. The cheese and leek tart is incredible as was the chicken in tarragon sauce. The servers are all great and really friendly too and

JULY 2026: Disappointing. I will first say that the waitress was absolutely lovely and the ambiance in the restaurant is lovely. But, let's be honest, this is High Street Kensington area and a certain level of quality is to be expected. The food was really not great. My friend had the nut roast thing. It was burned. Another had steak, it was ok, but the home made chips that came with it were overdone. I had the 'chicken pie'…. Honestly if you can only be bothered to put cheap roll-out pastry on top of an oven dish, don't have the nerve to call it a pie. The interior of this 'pie' was a watery strange tasting mess, that left me visiting the toilet pretty quickly that afternoon. The toilet in the place needs to be renovated and has no air conditioning. They need new kitchen staff and a new menu.

An amazing experience all around. The atmosphere feels like you're in the cottage of an old family friend as they invite you over for dinner. Collections of farm equipment on the walls, the chairs are mix of different types, and the plates are gorgeously decorated. I had a special which was a Beef with Mango Curry and it was amazing. The beef was cooked perfectly and the mango curry was sweet, but only just so. Nothing too cloying. I also sampled some of the paté that another in my party ordered, and that was divine. Every staff member we spoke with was friendly, answered our questions, and timely with taking orders and bringing food. Would happily come back here again.

This was such a fun date spot. Maggie Jones is super cozy with it's booths, the warm lighting and A* playlist for relaxed vibes. The food was as tasty as it looks, and it didn't feel like we had to wait long to have our orders taken or for the food to arrive. The meal itself was well seasoned and perfectly portioned. I loved the apple crumble with custard, it was had some fun spices I wasn't expecting. It's not cheap so I'd save it for special occasions but I would happily come back again.

I visited Maggie Jones’ this week, through the week & was very impressed. I booked as a solo as was in London on a break by myself. I was made to feel very welcome by the lovely staff, who were chatty & super helpful. The food is authentic British cuisine, made & cooked how it should be. I was given a complimentary basket of delicious bread & butter, also offered more once I finished. I ordered the pork belly with mash, apple sauce & gravy which was completely divine! I had Apple crumble with custard for dessert which was so clearly homemade & fresh. The quirky decor & warm feel this place gives is like nowhere else, you feel as if you’re in your Grandma’s living room haha! It’s beautiful & so cool with how vintage it is. Candlelit tables, I would imagine lovely to go as as a couple too. Cannot recommend this place enough! I will definitely be returning. Thank you Maggie Jones’
