The food here is delicious!! We ordered razor clams, mussels, croquetas, jamon iberico, Iberian pork cheeks, Padron peppers and more… and everything was tasty! Definitely try their basque cheesecake. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I’m definitely coming back here.
If you are looking for nice Spanish food and tapas, maresco is a must go. Being recommended by friends and regretted not knowing this place earlier. Fresh and tasty seafood, and good portion for all the dishes. everything cooked to the perfect conditions. The Basque cheesecake is even better than a lot of patisseries 🍰
The food was absolutely delicious, and service was fast and friendly. I would highly recommend the duck rice, courgette flower, venison arrancini and the bread pudding dessert. If you like sweet cocktails the grenanda is a must have. We used an app called eat club that got us a discount which I'd recommend. The only thing to note is that the cheesecake tastes cheesier than most cheesecakes I've had in the past- I assume this is because that's how traditional Basque cheesecake is made and it was an oversight on my part.
Very positively surprised by how nice the food here is. Classic Spanish tapas setting with counter seats so you can watch the chefs preparing your dishes. Service was friendly and the chefs prepared the dishes very fast. The seabass ceviche was really nice and the gambas grilled over charcoal mmmhhhj. Lamb over aubergine puree was also one of the highlights and don’t forget to try their homemade basque cheesecake. They are right now doing up to 50% off discounts trough the fork app which makes them great value too.
If you’re in Soho and craving great seafood, Maresco is a solid choice. It’s got a cool, laid-back vibe with an open kitchen and a nice buzz without feeling hectic. The seafood is the star — fresh, simple, and full of flavour. Oysters and sea bass ceviche are especially good, and everything feels well made without being fussy. Cheesecake was exceptional! There’s also a strong Spanish wine list that pairs really well with the food. Overall, it’s a great spot for dinner with friends or a casual date. Definitely worth checking out. We’ve been looked after really well by Kelly -professional with great knowledge of the menu. We had a great time and will be back!
