Dropped in and was immediately greeted warmly with a friendly chat which is pleasing. Great menu selection and the food was amazing. Fantastic vibe about the place making the whole experience totally enjoyable and I will come again next time I’m here.
Gamberetti in Guazzetto Fresh, plump black tiger prawns simmered in rich tomato sauce — honestly, the sauce is the real star! Definitely order a basket of bread to soak up every drop Carpaccio di Manzo Delicate beef carpaccio topped with peppery rocket. Its slight bitterness perfectly highlights the pure, clean flavour of the beef Tagliata di Manzo Sirloin steak incredibly tender and juicy. Needs almost nothing — just a pinch of salt is all it takes to shine Special Pizza Chef’s daily special: soft, airy crust with a surprising, delicious combo — rosemary, a hint of star anise, minced meat, potato and tomato. Absolutely addictive, you won’t want to stop eating
Always very nice to come back at Portobello restaurant, the fresh salad as starter was the best thing during this hot weather, and to finish the best mari e monti pasta I have ever tried. Really recommended
Food was SO delicious, but the service deserves gold 🏆 so friendly and gracious. We got two pizzas, the fried zucchini and gellati. Everything was fresh and light. The pizza crust is to die for. I had the Mescalzone pizza (half pizza half calzone) and it was incredible. A memorable experience I’ll carry with me and tell everyone about!
This is without a doubt the best Italian restaurant we’ve tried in London. From the exceptional service and professionalism of Roman to the outstanding specialties created by chefs Gazmir and Tiku, everything was flawless. Every dish was impeccably prepared and full of flavour from the pizza to the seafood linguine, and the perfectly balanced mix of fish and risotto. Everything was absolutely delicious, and we couldn’t recommend this place more. Definitely coming back!
