This is a fun 3-hour London walking tour of the very best sights of Westminster before entering the famous Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club. You can explore the museum and learn the history of this incredible sporting venue! Before visiting Wimbledon, this tour takes you through one of London’s best known areas : Westminster. We start in Green Park & then head to Westminster. Sights we’ll see along the way include Buckingham Palace (Changing of the Guard), Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament Square, the Houses of Parliament (Westminster Palace). Then it's time to visit the iconic Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club - home to one of the most famous sporting events in the world. Your guide will give you your tickets for Wimbledon and directions for how to get there on public transport, but will not join you for this part of the tour. Peek at Centre Court and explore the Wimbledon Museum at your own pace, discovering interactive galleries that include original objects from Wimbledon and clothing and equipment donated by tennis' top stars. • The Changing of the Guard Ceremony is only on certain days (Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun only - 10am tour). The schedule is managed by the British Army and is subject to change. Please note that your guide will not join you at Wimbledon. Tickets and directions will be given at the end of your walking tour. Wimbledon is around 45mins away by public transport - transport cost will be approx. £5.
