Decided to try this restaurant on the last day of a trip, was extremely satisfied! I ordered a mixed shish and a mango juice, and before the food came, we were given a basket of free bread and dips (probably up there with top 10 best things a restaurant can do). The bread was soft and delicious, and brushed with the most delicious seasoning/oil and there was a good selection of dips. The mango juice was cool and refreshing. When the main came, the portion was perfect, not too much and not too little, though I was very hungry. Both the lamb and chicken was succulent and juicy and perfectly seasoned. The rice and couscous was fluffy and delicious, even on their own! The staff were kind and friendly, and our food arrived pretty quickly, especially for a table our size. Overall very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend!
Amazing Turkish restaurant with really delicious food and generous portions. The mixed grill was the highlight — beautifully cooked, tender, juicy, and full of flavour, with that lovely charcoal-grilled taste. The chicken and meat were well seasoned and served with fresh sides, making the whole dish very satisfying. We also really enjoyed the Turkish flatbread with salad, which was fresh, tasty, and a great addition to the meal. Overall, a great place for authentic Turkish food, good quality ingredients, and a very enjoyable dining experience. Definitely worth visiting again.
Got served by Ozzi who was attentive and enthusiastic. Restaurant was clean and interior looked very nice. Flavour of the food was nice but unfortunately not worth the price. I ordered the mixed grill for around £22 and the portion size was so small I left feeling hungry. We were given one bowl of salad to share between 4 of us…I’ve had better kebab takeaways for much less. The menu also stated that they don’t serve tap water which I find stingy. Water, soda and juice from concentrate is the same price at £3.50 which is insane. I ordered the mixed grill, pineapple juice, sweet potato fries which came up to £34.85 (including service charge). I could have got a premium steak with this price elsewhere. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back again.
From the very first moment, the evening started on the right note. The hostess immediately noticed we had arrived as a family — a toddler and a pram with our newborn — and kindly offered us a spacious table with plenty of room to park the pram. A small gesture, perhaps, but it set the tone for the whole experience. Service throughout the evening was quick, attentive and genuinely professional without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with tasteful surroundings that immediately suggested this was not just another casual grill house. Even the details stood out: the cutlery and glassware were clearly chosen with care, subtly signalling that this place aims to be a level above the typical Turkish grill. We ordered the restaurant’s largest grill platter and when it arrived it was truly impressive — generous and beautifully presented. More importantly, everything on it was cooked perfectly. As people who genuinely love Turkish grills, we do not say this lightly: this easily sits in the top five we have ever had. The lamb ribs were succulent and rich, the chicken shish full of flavour and wonderfully juicy, and the lamb döner was the proper kind — carved from real layered meat rather than the usual anonymous version one too often encounters. The bread and salads on the side were fresh and exactly as they should be. We paired the meal with a Turkish red wine made from Öküzgözü grapes, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise — fruity, balanced and with just the right acidity to complement the grilled meats. My wife and daughter ordered mocktails and even here the attention to detail was clear. The virgin piña colada arrived with such care and presentation that my first thought was: are we in a speakeasy? To finish, we had baklava — warm, sweet, nutty and clearly fresh. The kind of dessert that simply makes you smile. A special thanks to our waitress Tez, who was outstanding throughout and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back — and next time we will bring friends to show them this little gem in our area
Walked by here a couple of times and I love Mediterranean food so we went here for dinner tonight. The place was very good for having a quiet meeting. Service was very prompt and considerate. The food came out quickly. I had the falafel and haloumi salad which was delicious. My friend had the avocado salad with a falafel appetizer. Then as an extra surprise they brought out flatbread with 3 wonderful condiments to try. It was an snooker amount of food for a reasonable price. And both is is thought it was delicious.
