It serves a contemporary Pan-Asian cuisine developed by Head Chef Ian Pengelley who has spent many years in Asia exploring Asia‘s traditions, recipes and cooking methods. On a 15,000 sq ft space, the restaurant gives room for dining, relaxing, private parties and business meetings all at once.
The menu of the Gilgamesh comprises dishes prepared with exotic flavours and fresh ingredients. Mouth-watering presented main courses include Chilean sea bass in hoba leaf, Singapore noodles and duck and starters like Beijing house made dumplings, prawn & banana spring roll and pomegranate banh trang roll. The dessert menu includes the very rich and highly recommendable delicious caramel and warm chocolate fondant with praline and fresh vanilla ice cream. The drinks menu offers a variety of international wines hand selected by the in-house sommelier and award winning cocktails mixed by the resident mixologists.
The restaurant is a perfect mix of contemporary style, exotic imagery and authentic ornaments. Every chair and table is hard carved to precision, marble pillars are covered in inlaid with Lapis and mother of pearl and the wooden flooring has been enriched with a special colour and finish made in The Netherlands. These intricate and meticulous details are to set the guests in the mood for a truly divine dining experience and are also represented in the perfectly assembled menu.
