Founded in the 1970s in rural Somerset, Mulberry has expanded and grown outwards in the British fashion world, and is now a recognised household name.
In their formative years the brand were known for their leather duffel handbags and styles often suited to hunting, meaning their market was predominantly Sloane-Rangers and middle England country types.
The overhaul of the brand now produces some of the most recognisable designs in the handbag world. For example, the Alexa satchel bag in 2010 inspired by pop TV presenter and model Alexa Chung. As well as the Lana Bag in 2012 inspired by the American born singer Lana Del Rey.
