Based in the uber-cool East London (where the all the young, cool professionals live) Pelicans & Parrots caters exactly to their clientele. The simple walls and well laid out interior hold all kinds of hipster items. Vintage clothing is hung on portable rails, large pieces of furniture, all of which is for sale, hold eclectic mixes of skulls, ships in bottles and homemade notebooks and empty birdcages swing slightly from the ceiling. All of this gives the shop a very open, very welcoming and very cool feel. You know that a lot of effort has gone into presenting the shop and you don't feel like you are rummaging around in someone's house while looking for things to buy.
