David Kelly has transformed Roald Dahl’s classic novel Matilda into an on-stage musical production, set to the soundtrack of Tim Minchin’s comedy genius.
Generations will revel in the magical tale of young Matilda, an incredibly intelligent schoolgirl with psychokinetic powers.
Unloved by her family, Matilda is taken under the wing of her kind schoolteacher, Miss Honey, who evil aunt runs the school. Cowering under Miss Trunchbull’s reign, the two unleash Matilda’s powers on the school in a funny, charming and uplifting tale.
