The Venue

When it's not paying host to a huge variety of sports in the 2012 Olympics, the ExCeL London Centre is a busy place, being home to several annual conventions held regularly. Business start-up plans, comic cons and trade fairs come to the building throughout the year. ExCeL London has also been the location at which X-Factor was filmed, and the first auditions of Britain's Got Talent.

It's set in locally-recognisable surroundings - near Canary Wharf and the rest of the Docklands - but should be easy for tourists to find as well, thanks to its proximity to London City Airport with several dual carriage ways and DLR (Docklands Light Railway) connections at hand for ease of access.
