This adorable little boutique is a club, shop, sanctuary and paradise for knitters. Situated in Waterloo, owner Craig Carruthers and Gerard Allt have a passion for knitting and strive to share this passion with the public. The shop sells everything from yarn, to hand-dyed crafts, needles and crochet hooks. All shop items are also sold online if you can't make it to the store itself.

I Knit also hold frequent clubs and events throughout the year. The Sock Club, The Lace Club and Crafternoon Tea are regular occurrences at the store, as are knitting groups that occur twice a week. You'll also be treated to tea and cakes at many of these. Yet the main event is the I Knit Weekender, a knitting and crochet extravaganza that features market stalls, classes and exhibitions. Make sure you book classes in advance because these tend to get fully booked fairly quickly.
