The food at The Abbeville is delicious and reasonably priced – special prices for neighbours so they say. Highly recommendable are fish dishes, since the fish is locally caught and neighbourly sourced, and the beef is extremely well-prepared. The homemade burgers are not only tasty, but huge and served with some of the best chips in the city. The pub offers a wide selection of wine and beer to wash down your meal, too.
The pub features two individual bar areas; both of them hearty and welcoming. Cosy nooks next to an open fire are the ideal place to nestle on cold winter evenings, whereas summer nights can be spent in the pub with the front doors open giving way to light breezes. The interior is rusty yet refined and is comfortable all year round with the aim being to enable guests to relax and let go after a busy day. Big TV screens will please sport fans, since the pub shows all major tournaments and events.
