The ethos at The Plough is all about sharing and socialising, and not just because it's a pub, part of the social glue of London. The Plough is a pub with an appetite and serves up dishes of bite-sized proportions ideal for splitting between a group of friends.
Its menu is comprised of Anglo-American fare like ribs or white truffle chips, or dishes smothered with hot sauce. Whether it's brunch, lunch or dinner you're after, The Plough can help you out. After all, it's not classed as one of Clapham's rising stars for nothing.
Running in the same vein as the food, the drinks menu at The Plough mixes both British and American tones with the likes of locally crafted London beer, Meantime Pale Ale, as well as shakes, smoothies and floats for when the sun comes out.
In all, The Plough is a welcoming and addictive space for wining and dining. The oaken floors, lavishly-coloured low-backed sofas of plush deep pink, the bare brick walls and open ceilings complete with exposed piping and light fittings really open up the place overall.
