Blacklock Shoreditch

Made a reservation a few weeks in advance after hearing that Blacklock had one of the best Sunday roasts. 3 of us ordered the all in and this was a ton of food! My favorite cut was surprisingly the pork! The gravy was flavorful, and the meats were tender. Be prepared for a heavy, filling meal. The beefy Mary tasted just like a normal Bloody Mary. We ended with the cheesecake, which was creamy and tasted almost like a pudding
Great meal at Blacklock Shoreditch. We had the "All In" option for £28 and appreciated being able to swap the pork for non-pork eaters. The food arrived quickly, the service was friendly and efficient, and although it was quite loud, we could still comfortably hold a conversation. The only slight downside was that the drinks weren't particularly strong. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and we'd happily return.
Best steakhouse that I’ve been in London. The cuts were excellent and juicy especially the t bone steak Definitely recommended and we will be back! Can get busy so definitely reserve beforehand
I came back to the same shop twice because their steak is amazing, and their white chocolate cheesecake gives you a perfect finish to a heavy evening! So far I’ve tried their prime rib sharing, pork chop, bone marrow, pie, and Denver cut. All of them are pretty good, tho I will recommend eating the pork chop really fast before it turns cold and hard to bite.
It’s been over 5 years since I last went to a Blacklock and like lat time it didn’t disappoint. It was for Saturday lunch so booked online a couple of weeks before. We had to find someone to greet us at the door so that wasn’t a good start but after that things worked through very smoothly. We were meeting other members of our family so it took a while to get round to looking at the menu after we sat down - the waitress was very patient with us! Whilst the menu isn’t huge it does present difficulties as I wanted everything! In the end 2 of us went for the all in chops and my wife had the burger and our niece the pie. The small bites which came with the chops as a starter were very tasty and were a good start to the meal. The chops were fantastic- very tasty and well seasoned. The meat juices absorb in the bread on the platter making it so good. Chips were superbly crispy and gravy very meaty (though would prefer it thicker). Burger and pie were equally s good. Only one of us had space for dessert - the signature white chocolate cheesecake which looked great. Staff very friendly. Great atmosphere as the restaurant filled up. Thought the aloe was good considering the food quality and location. Sunday lunch next time!
