This is my number one restaurant in the world. The service was impeccable, but most importantly, the food is simply exceptional. I've been here on multiple occasions over the past 10 years, and I'm always amazed by how consistently outstanding everything is, even after the change of head chef. On this visit, I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner for the first time. He took the time to have a wonderful conversation with us, sharing fascinating stories about Pied à Terre, and even surprised us with a thoughtful gesture at the end of the meal. It made an already unforgettable dining experience even more special. Looking forward to return to it whenever I would have a chance to visit London.

We dined early. Service fantastic. Opted for 7 course tasting menu.Food beautifully presented but some of the combinations didn't quite work. My favourite was the rooster tortellini, with the quail as a close competitor.

From the moment we walked in we were so well looked after.Front of house were amazing thank you for the ice towels to cool us down after our train ride on the hottest day of the year. We had the £35 menu plus lots of champagne and wine and all were perfect one of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time there is a reason that this place has held a Michelin star for 33 years. If you want a great meal in central London then go here.

Here I am writing a review two years later, which I suppose is enough time to properly digest the experience. I had come to London with my brother-in-law on his first trip overseas. He's a big foodie, and we happened to chance across PT. We arrived early and ran into the head chef, Phil Kearsey, who was kind enough to bring us in ahead of our reservation and show us around. The interior design and overall space were lovely, and we were incredibly excited to try the food. As a younger group of lads (and with me never having been to somewhere quite this swanky), it was a bit intimidating at first, but the staff quickly warmed up to us as we bumbled our way through the experience. A very special thank you to Ciarán Bagchus, who realized I had a more modest wine budget but still wanted us to drink like kings. He pointed us toward a fantastic red instead of whatever swill I had been eyeing, all while keeping it under £150. He was incredibly gracious, especially considering we overheard him dealing with some very snooty and rather dickish oligarchs a few tables over. During the meal, Mo, one of the waiters, was equally kind. He brought back more of the shaved cheese (which I assume isn't something diners typically request repeatedly) and even showed us how it worked while chatting a bit about his life. It was genuinely great. I think the highlight of it all, though, was that after coming out of the bathroom, I accidentally wandered up the stairs and stumbled across the personal kitchen. Instead of being told I couldn't be there, I ended up talking with the chef and sommelier about food, music, and everyday life (and the incredibly fun yellow painting in the corner). It was completely happenstance, but the accessibility and warmth of both individuals, especially in what I had built up in my mind as a high-stakes environment, was really special and one of a kind. Toward the end of the evening, we also briefly spoke with the owner, Mr. David, about the design of the space and humorously pointed out a cobweb as part of the ambience, which I swore he might come out with a broom and a ladder if we hadn't been eating in that location. The food and atmosphere were impeccable, but what I ultimately left impressed by was the staff. I walked into a place where I felt I might not belong (we were wearing our best backpacking attire we had packed), yet somehow left feeling entirely at home.

I’ve just had a fantastic Chef experience at Pied a Terre. The kitchen was brilliant, the staff fantastic and I really did feel like I was in (a much more friendly version) of the Bear ❤️. Highly recommend both the experience and the restaurant- they make you feel special. Special shout out to Cira and David. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day!
