Outstanding meal and experience. Best fish meal I have had in Europe this summer. The SeaBass was superb. Warm hospitality from the owners with complimentary drink to finish off a perfect meal. I will be back!
Good portion size, souvlaki with rice is great for one for even sharing with a selection of starters. The staff are so friendly and kind. They gave my mum and I lots of things on the house which made the experience. Lemoncello, raki, baklava etc. Really good energy about the place and I love that you can sit outside on a summer evening and not listen to the traffic of the high street. A great fan of the locals xx also…. They have lots of cool aquarium tanks :)
The food is great and authentic with generous portions. The service is friendly and welcoming though it can be a bit slow at times. Overall, it’s a good experience with tasty food.
10/10 Absolutely loved Alexander the Great in Camden. Such a warm, authentic atmosphere and the food was incredible fresh, full of flavour and really generous portions. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and it made for a really lovely relaxed meal. Easily one of the best Greek restaurants I’ve been to in London. Will definitely be back!
Tried Alexander the Great Restaurant in Camden and it did not disappoint. I had the lamb kebab — absolutely lovely. It was really flavourful and cooked to perfection. The chips were well seasoned and honestly tasted just like the chips you’d get in Cyprus. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful too. I especially liked all the fish tanks around the place. I keep fish myself, so it was nice to see other tanks and they were really well looked after. The location is great as well — only about a 10-minute walk from King’s Cross station. Overall, a very nice experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
