Created by two childhood friends, Cristiano and Paolo, Amorino is dedicated to bringing Italy to the world, through the divine, rich flavours of their traditionally churned gelato. With shops as far a field as the US, La Reunion and scattered across Europe, visiting Amorino in Chelsea is a must, for those who seek the Italian gelato experience.
Made from only fresh, locally sourced ingredients, the gelato is churned and mixed to allow all flavours to develop. The result is a thick, creamy, rich product that explodes with taste. The gelato is served in a truly special way; in the form of a flower on top of a cone, each petal a different flavour. This not only makes for a visually beautiful product, but also allows you to sample as many of the tempting flavours as you wish.
What truly makes the Amorino experience special, however, is the enchanting atmosphere of the shop. Bare brick walls and sweeping alcoves will make you feel as though you are enjoying a fresh gelato in a square in Florence. The staff are hugely passionate about their product, and always ready to offer advice and recommendations if the mouth-watering flavour choice becomes too much.
