Must-visit spot for any true steak lover! I ordered the butcher's cut ribeye, and without exaggeration, it was the best steak I have ever had. The char was absolutely flawless, locking in an incredible amount of flavor, while the inside remained perfectly tender, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection. From the very first bite, the quality of the meat was undeniable. The service was top-notch to match, making the entire dining experience seamless and memorable. If you appreciate a properly executed, high-caliber steak, this place delivers. I will definitely be back.
Great restaurant. 5 star service. The steak was well cooked with good garnishing and sides. However, your cheesecake is ONE OF THE BEST I've ever had in my life and to DIE FOR!. Thank you for sharing the recipe on our IG page as my partner and I have recreated it back home in Sydney. That said, I will never forget our dining experience at your Soho restaurant several weeks ago. It was our final meal before we departed London and you made it truly special!
Omg, no notes 👌🏼 walked in around 5.30pm on a weds and they sat us quite quickly although the place was packed, much appreciated. Had the steak sandwich, steak pie and chips. One of the best meals we ever had- could tell they cooked the food with so much love and passion. The white cheesecake at the end was the perfect cherry on top. Reasonably priced, good vibes and great service. Could not recommend it more!
Great food and it was such a vibe! We were lucky enough to get a table for 3 without booking on a Thursday. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a Moscow mule, old fashioned and a Negroni and they were tasty I had the Denver steak and my friends got the rib eye and both were delicious. One of the best steaks I’ve had. For sides: the beef dripping chips were amazing and crunchy! The sweet potato was flavorful and the broccoli and walnut salad was delicious. For sauces: the garlic bone marrow was ok but the chop sauce (which is their peppercorn sauce) was amazing And lastly we had the cheesecake to share and it was wonderful!! I will definitely be coming back 🤗
I think Blacklock is a great steak restaurant. On my first day I tried the T-Bone and it was really good, although medium-well turned out a bit overcooked. On the second day I ordered the Denver steak. They recommended medium-rare, so I went with that, and it was fantastic. The local IPA wasn’t bad either, although I personally prefer stronger beers with steak. I didn’t like the white chocolate cheesecake very much — it felt too fatty and artificial, more like a simple wedding cake. Don’t believe the hype too much. Overall, it’s a nice steakhouse in Soho with great staff, and I would recommend it.
