Cambio de Tercio
Cambio de Tercio is a quality South Kensington Spanish eatery. Well, how could it be anything but? The area is renowned for classy, well-cultured, high-flying folk who all enjoy top-notch tucker. That is without being pretentious, we hasten to add. Campio de Tercio, literally translating as A Change of Pace is inviting, relaxed, and serves delicious Spanish dishes.
Salmon tartare, calamari, oxtail, Patatas Bravas (probably translating as (i)Posh Potatoes) all engage examples of nibbly tapas which you can pop in your mouth and consume within seconds. Cranking the chewing power up a notch which the likes of grilled octopus exemplifies de Tercio's vastly exotic menu choice.
Desserts are rich and hearty, full of chocolates, sorbets, ice creams, nuts, and fruits. Their Fluid Hot Chocolate Cake certainly won't last long on anyone's plate, even if you've had the delectable suckling pig as a main course beforehand. You simply cannot afford to leave anything on your plate before leaving de Tercio; it'd be a waste of time.
Cambio de Tercio, with its warm, inviting sunset colour scheme of oranges and soft pinks, serves as a spectacular venue for you and a group of friends to visit for a slap-up meal and some fine wine. Come prepared with wads of cash - remember, it's South Kensington - but be prepared to be blown away by some exquisitely tasty food.
