Had a great experience at dinner on Saturday night. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Really made us feel welcome! The food was good aswell but it was the ambience and the service that really makes this place stand out. Pricing was reasonable for a restaurant in this area. Paid £120 for 3 people, this included 3 mocktails, 3 mains and 1 tirimusu. The portion for the tiramisu was a let down, it was very small for a £9 dessert- probably only 2 tablespoons of tiramisu :/ Besides that everything else was great and we will be coming back! Thank you very much team!
It’s a beautiful, stunning venue but the service and food just wasn’t there (for the price). We got a bottle of wine and they placed it where we couldn’t even see it (I still have no clue where it was placed to this day) so we asked the waiter to move it next to us, and they never topped up our glasses which is absolutely essential service when ordering a bottle. We were happy to top ourselves up but for an Italian restaurant it’s very strange. Another red flag were the unisex toilets. There are some doors labelled ladies but the men don’t care, use them anyway and piss all over the seats. Lovely. The food lacked flavour. I’ve been here twice now but would recommend if u want cute pics.
In May I came for a graduation meal which I was dissatisfied with the quality of meal. After contacting Carlotta, I was met with expectations that were exceeded as they looked to allow me to revisit the restaurant in response to my experience before which was not great. The staff at Carlotta ensured my next experience was well attended for, as I was welcomed with detailed explanations of the menu, the Chardonnay was lovely as it was my first time trying, and it was nice to see the map of Italy with details on the geography of the wines. From the appetisers to the sweet ending of a dessert - each item was well presented, and most importantly tasted great. My friend and I had a lovely time and we were sat in well volumed area of the restaurant so we can easily speak to eachother & a lovely photo spot. Thank you Valeria for the attentive service. Will come again - anyone looking to come, you will be looked after very well here.
Had a delicious meal tonight at Carlotta. First time eating here. Visited London for a few nights. Gabriella was an awesome server. Very professional and nice. His manager Ivan made my night. It was late I had just paid my bill and I asked if there were any nearby ice cream spots around. They said they were all closed. However Ivan said I will get you some pistachio ice cream and it’s on the house. He brought me a cup of ice cream and it was delicious! Perfect ending to a perfect meal. Thank you so much! 💪
We enjoyed a wonderful appetizer, an excellent cocktail, and pasta arrabiata with beef. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, each bite bringing a delightful warmth. The ambiance of the restaurant complemented the meal, creating a cozy atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. For dessert, we chose the tiramisu, which was light and creamy, leaving a sweet finish to our dining adventure. Recommendation: Rely on the waiter’s judgment. He has the best insights.
