In English, 'fino' means fine, delicate, refined, high-quality. The decision to call this place what they did must have been an easy one; they only needed to look at the menu. Succulent seafood (clams, king prawns, scallops), mouth-watering meats (pancetta, the classic chorizo sausage, chicken wings and crispy pork belly), and the unmistakable and unforgettable whole roast suckling pig, roast Pyrenean milk-fed lamb.
Of course, Fino offers a wealth of vegetarian options (and fish, for those who're on the fence about their meat-eating beliefs). Try the whole Dover Sole, Turbot or Sea Bass - they're perfect for ripping and sharing. As far as greenery goes, there are dishes which include baby leaves, chicory, fennel and baby beetroot.
Fino most appeals to groups of people who're looking for a speedy lunch and, such is the nature of a tapas meal, a varied one. There's so much choice on offer (the above being only the merest of examples) that you'll have to come back plenty of times to try everything on the menu. o
