Very tasty! We shared the battered cod and Thai fish cakes and they were so good 🤤 The cod was light and flaky, not dried out, but the star of the show were the fish cakes - great flavour, great ingredients. Also had the london pale ale which rounded out the meal perfectly 🥰

I must say that their fish and chips was the best one I had in London. I felt like I was eating at a restaurant by the coast, with some freshly picked fish served on the table. Most restaurants and pubs seem to be serving frozen fish without much taste these days, so I was a bit cautious, but I am glad that I have tried this restaurant. Their battered fish was with fresh seabass and I could taste the soft and moist texture of the fish inside of its very crispy battered texture outside. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing too. The staff were very attentive and friendly. All in all, I would recommend visiting it if you like fish and you want a fine dining experience.

The fish was perfectly crispy with a light, delicate batter, and the fish itself was fresh and delicious. The oysters were also incredibly fresh and tasty. Overall, it was a truly wonderful lunch experience.

Maybe I just made bad menu choices but I didn't enjoy meal here. I'll start with what I did like. Friendly staff - Manuel who was our waiter and Alan who brought the bill. And the goats cheese starter was okay although it could have done with a drizzle of something. Had 2 mains as I couldn't decide. The cod fish balls were extremely disappointing as I couldn't taste the cod, in my opinion they tasted more like potato balls. When waiter asked how it was I said I couldn't taste the fish and he said it's just meant to be a hint of fish. Next was the herb encrusted fish. Very flavourless in my opinion. Cute muslin type cloth over the lemon to stop seeds falling out but I had to remove mine to get juice out properly. Sticky toffee pudding came swimming in sauce so much so that the ice cream melted into it and the pudding itself had a grainy feel. My friends chips with the fish and chips were so crunchy they were inedible. I tried a couple and had to abandon then also. Manuel kindly offered to bring another bowl which was just as inedible so was discarded as well. It ended up as a separate charge on the bill at the end which was removed when queried. Very disappointing meal overall. I've walked past this restaurant on many occasions thinking one day I'll give it a go so it's sad that I didn't enjoy it more but like I said, it may just be my menu choice.

A stalwart, reliable, high quality Fish restaurant within Borough Market. The quality of their fish & menu was as always excellent. Very busy as in high demand at weekends which translates to often rushed service & a bit of a wait for a table which is the only compromise. Prices are mid range and reasonable for the food, convenience & experience of enjoying a meal right in the middle of the action. Definately recommended
