Discreet and intimate, the Giorgio's is tucked away under Leadenhall Market in a series of traditional alcoves. The cuisine at the Leadenhall Italian Restaurant is a deft and delightful blend of modern and authentically traditional Italian cooking, with only the freshest and finest ingredients used. All manner of classics are available, including every pizza and pasta dish imaginable, while there are also a number of specials that are worthy of note, including the fantastic spaghetti lobster, the spinach and ricotta pasta, the grilled aubergine and the sumptuous calzone (folded) pizzas. For wines, the menu has a number of impressive Italian numbers, with the 2004 Zenato Valipocella Superior coming highly recommended.
