We were the beneficiaries of a Virgin Experience gift and are thankful it included a charcuterie, cheese and wine tasting lunch at this lovely venue. The selection of cheese was exceptional but being a cheese lover I'm probably biased but all told it was a lovely couple of hours. My wife was full up and couldn't quite manage desert but such a lunch needed an espresso and digestivo to follow and a lovely grappa obliged. We were extremely well looked after by Signor Albino, a credit to La Terrazza, so friendly and assisted by Alejandro. We're really happy to recommend and will return. Grazie mille Albino.
Popped in just for a drink, wasnt sure if we would get in at it was 10pm, but the staff could be more welcoming! Such a beautiful restaurant, the staff are all amazing the place is gorgeous. Its a restaurant attached to the hotel Xenia which is also beautiful. Definitely want to stay here on my next visit to London. I highly recommend 👌 👌👌👌👌
Many thanks to Albino and the entire staff. Outstanding welcome, excellent service, and delicious food. I highly recommend the fried seafood—light and tasty. We will definitely be back! Karolina e Gennaro
A very nice cafe. We had the Tiramisu and the Pistachio Crème Brulee and they were both perfect!! Had cappuccino as well which was great! Unfortunately we couldn’t be at the terrace past 17:00 but the place and experience was still amazing!
You certainly sit at this beautiful glass enclosure, remining you of a skydome or a terrace. The interior is decorated beautifully with the pastries station greeting you with delicious looking goods. From the moment you enter, you feel like you're goint to have a wonderful time. The problem is with the food. We went in for dessert and I can confidently say that there was nothing special about the mango sorbet, tiramisu, and the creme brulee. Everything was bland or less sweet. I'm not sure whether this is a UK cultural thing or going for healthier food choices. But the once place you cannot let off the sugar is dessert. The peach tart was just a tart. The mango sorbet was a good fresh mango sorbet, but not mind-blowing. The tiramisu was quite good but again, with this type of an atmosphere, I expect exquisite desserts. Essentially, the food quality does not keep up with the visuals on display at the bar. The service was extremely friendly and we had a good time sipping on tea. It is just that they need to be a bit more generous with sugar with their desserts.
