A fantastic place! Beautiful natural light, friendly and attentive staff, and absolutely fabulous food. The ceviche and scallops were mouthwatering—fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavour. The vegan panna cotta was the perfect finish to the meal: delicate, creamy, and beautifully balanced. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. I can't wait to return!
There are many good restaurants in London based on Peruvian cuisine, and this is no exception. Set inside the boutique Sun Street Hotel, the bar and reception are beautifully appointed. The decor of the restaurant is more simple, but still very nice. The food is the star-of-the-show; very tasty and beautifully presented. All of the staff were excellent too. We will definitely return.
We had another wonderful experience at Sunstreet Hotel when we dined there last Saturday for my husband’s birthday. This was actually our second time dining here...the first was during our wedding celebration...which shows how special this place is to us. The food was as good as ever — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We especially loved the brioche, croquettes, broccoli, uchucuta, wagyu, beef tataki, hake, and wedge chips, while the kids absolutely enjoyed their burgers. The cocktails and coffees were also excellent. My husband and in-laws kept saying throughout the meal that all the food was excellent, which truly says a lot. Kudos to the talented chefs for creating such amazing dishes. Jessica and Lucky were especially attentive, always checking on us and attending to our needs right away. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and wonderful with the children. A special thank you as well to the receptionists and manager for being so warm and kind to the kids.It made us feel the genuine warmth and hospitality of the entire staff even more. We can’t wait to come back again ❤️❤️❤️
Lima is a real gem. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone perfectly, the decor strikes a beautiful balance between warmth and sophistication, making it ideal for both a relaxed dinner and a special occasion. The service was exemplary throughout; attentive without being overbearing, and the staff clearly knew the menu inside out. We felt genuinely well looked after from start to finish. As for the food — the standout was the ribeye steak. Cooked to perfection and seasoned with a real confidence, every bite delivered on flavour. It’s the kind of dish that reminds you why you go out to eat. An all-round outstanding experience. Lima has earned a firm place on my list of favourites in East London — I’ll absolutely be back.
We visited LIMA Shoreditch with friends and shared the trio de ceviches, duck and beef ribeye. The ceviches were fresh and vibrant, and both the duck and ribeye were cooked and seasoned really well. Service was attentive and the atmosphere felt lively without being overwhelming. Excellent value when using the Fork 20% offer.
