Paternoster Chop House
The Paternoster Chop House located on Warwick Court, Paternoster Square serves traditional British food in a relaxed and modern environment. Set to the beautiful backdrop of St. Paul’s Cathedral, diners can enjoy a relaxing lunch after sight seeing or a hearty dinner with a wonderful view.
The restaurant focuses on seasonality and well sourced produce which is why the à la carte menu might change unexpectedly. The Paternoster Chop House offers a Food in the Bar lunch menu with two courses for £10 and three courses for £13.00 and a special promotion of one dish from the à la carte menu served with a pint for a mere £10. The menu includes dishes such as sweet parsnip and honey soup, pork chop and the beast of the day. Fresh meat bought on the bone and cut up in house. Whereas the wine selection was created to complement the hearty meals, the real focus of the drinks menu lays on lagers, ales and cider. A beer of the week is presented and promoted.
The restaurant is not only blessed with a wonderful view, but also with an outside terrace overlooking the courtyard and a beautiful dining room. Stone-like paving, light coloured walls and red banquettes play harmonically together and mediate a warm and soothing atmosphere. Paternoster Chop House attracts guests of all kinds; residents and visitors, families and lovers, young and old. This gives the restaurant a distinctive charm and the feeling of always being welcome.
