Rossopomodoro

London

Italian and Pizzerias

Think of Rossopomodoro as a more authentic, even more Italian version of Strada. The chain originated in Naples, and as a result, quality control and attention to things like provenance and authenticity are significantly higher than they are at equivalent restaurants.

That means that pretty much every dish on the menu is a lot better than anything else on similarly-priced rivals. If you were going to eat cheap and convenient Italian in central London, this should be your go-to. Their lunchtime deal is also a no-brainer, since you're getting any pizza or pasta with a wine or beer for less than £15.

The pizzas are tragically overlooked and, though inexplicably not found on most critics' lists, are very, very good. Go for the margarita with buffalo mozzarella - you can thank us later.
