Sakura is the perfect place for a quick snacky lunch or dinner. It's not the largest of venues so tables fill up quickly and you might be hanging around for a while before you're seated.
Inside, the Japanese owners serve traditional healthy fare and, with the added presence of the sushi bar, you know you're in for some genuine food. Take the a la carte sushi, for example. Each option comes with two pieces of each, and there's so much choice with the likes of tuna, sea urchin, eel, horse mackerel, mullet, prawn and egg on the list.
For a real winning choice, however, we'd suggest the Katsudon which is a deep-fried breadcrumb-covered pork fillet, sliced up and laid on a steaming pile of rice. Then they'll break an egg across the top to hold the whole thing together. It might sound heavy on the stomach but, trust us, it's delicious and, for £8.50, you can't really complain.
