Established in 1970, the Sheba restaurant and take away offers delicious Indian and Bangladeshi dishes on Brick Lane. The restaurant aims to provide authentic meals in a comfortable and relaxing setting leaving guests with a memorable dining experience that is perfect in every way.
The menu of Sheba comprises fresh and delightful meals based on both traditional and creative recipes. The à la carte menu includes fish, meat and vegetarian dishes as well as typical tandoori, curry and balti dishes. Some of the signature dishes are Lamb Jalfrezi (cubes of tender chicken strips cooked with ginger, green chilli, tomatoes and fresh herbs cooked in a hot spicy sauce), boal fish fry marinated for several hours and cooked in a freshly made coriander sauce with tomatoes, garlic and potatoes and vegetable dishes such as sabji massala and paneer massala. The restaurant offers a wide variety of complementing drinks at a reasonable price.
For four decades now, the restaurant has delighted its guests with high quality dishes, fabulous drinks and a modern, yet suitable atmosphere. The waiting staff is helpful and attentive, yet unobtrusive, giving you the room and the time to decide, eat and spend intimate hours with your company.
