Gatwick Airport: Bus Transfer from/to Central London
2323 ReviewsStart or finish off your holiday the easy way with a great value bus transfer from Gatwick to central London. Sit back and relax as you reach the capital comfortably and quickly.
Situated within the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes hotel located on Baker Street, the Sherlock's Bar and Grill offers modern European cuisine and fantastic drinks in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.
The kitchen team prepares the dishes mainly in the charcoal grill and mesquite wood-burning oven and with fresh organic ingredients. Some of the signature dishes are roast Gressingham duck breast, banana shallot comfit, potato champs and red wine jus, caramelized stone bass fillet, celeriac puree and chilli and lasagne of wild mushroom and pecorino cheese, creamed truffle sauce and toasted pine nuts. Considering that the restaurant is located within a hotel, it is not surprising that the dishes come well-presented and, unfortunately, at a higher price. However, the excellent service by the friendly waiting staff and the elegant surroundings make up for that.
With comfortable leather chairs, muted lighting and round tables, a cosy and sociable place for dining and chatting is created. A long bar invites for a post shopping or after-work drink for residents of the hotel and for the public. Sherlock's Bar and Grill is open daily from 12:00 - 14:30 and 18:00 - 22:30 hrs.
