Sushinho
London
In the midst of the fashionable King's Road, Sushinho showcases a combination of contrasting yet highly complimentary Brazilian and Japanese cuisine. Currently, Brazil is home to the largest Japanese community outside of Japan. Over a century ago, the government sent a boat full of locals over to Brazil as a way of promoting emigration to tackle overpopulation and poverty and they've not looked back ever since. As a result, the Japanese culture has dramatically enhanced Brazilian dining.
Focusing on this ancestry, Sushinho serves up traditional fare found in sushi restaurants and churrascarias of places like Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. They source all produce locally to get the best flavours and varieties which results in a constantly changing menu. With their strong moral grounding, they no longer serve tuna as it is under threat globally, and hope to encourage customers to change their habits and help make a difference.
The A la Carte Menu offers a selection of sushi, tempura, grills and sides. And of course, it wouldn't be complete without the Sake Menu.
