Tapasia
London
In the beating heart of bustling Soho, where hundreds of restaurants beckon for your service, Tapasia offers something a little bit different. The name says it all, serving up a combination of tapas and Asian cuisine, small portions of the Oriental food we love. It sounds odd, but strangely it works.
Run by the Tsunami Japanese Restaurant range who had great success with 'Tsunami' in Clapham, they have set the atmosphere to fit Soho's clientèle, with edgy exposed light bulbs and raw wooden furniture. Their recent concept provides something new, with Pan-Asian tapas like Yuzu Kosho grilled king prawns and tofu Hiyashi Wakame seaweed to name but a few.
The atmosphere is a combination between a formal dining experience and a relaxed pit stop for a quick bite, meaning it's the perfect spot for a long dinner with friends, a speedy meal on a busy day, or, even a business lunch.
