The Marquess of Anglesey
London
The Marquess of Anglesey is a modern gastropub located on Bow Street in the beautiful Covent Garden. With European based snacks and main dishes and international drinks, the venue caters for its guests' hungers, appetites and thirst in a warm environment.
The menu of the restaurant comprises traditional British classics as well as larger platters to share and rich desserts. Whether you opt for the smoked haddock and salmon fishcakes with wilted spinach, lemon and parsley butter sauce, the 28 day-aged 8oz Exmoor rump steak
with Portobello mushroom, grilled tomato and chips and a choice of peppercorn sauce or béarnaise sauce or the goat's cheese and tomato tart with green salad and pesto dressing, they are all prepared with the finest quality ingredients and come in generous sizes. All dishes are best topped off with one of the great desserts such as sticky toffee pudding with fresh cream or the apple pie with custard.
Situated on a corner, the restaurant features large window fronts allowing natural light to illuminate the dining room at all times. With comfortable bar stools, high tables and a chocolate brown floor, the dining room is an excellent mixture of living room and pub.
