Tibits is an amalgamation of healthy eating. A central food bar (or, as they call it, a 'food boat') runs (or is that sails?) through the middle of the main eating area and it's from here where you can fill your plate and fill your face.
And fill you shall because all their food is freshly produced and won't leave you feeling bloated and heavy. Opening for breakfast as well as lunch and dinner, they serve all the sweetened pastries of the continent plus fruits, cereals and yoghurt to kick start your day perfectly. Elsewhere, with hot dishes being served from half eleven in the week and midday on Sundays, there are over forty options to choose from off the deck of the food boat, costing only a few pounds per 100g. Otherwise there are homemade sandwiches, soups and breads.
To soak up all the food there's a plethora of coffees, wines, beers, ciders, spirits and mixers, as well as fruit juices, water and teas. And, just to show this gastronomic affair has wheels, several famous faces including celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, have been seen nibbling and quaffing within the confines of Tibits.
As far as location is concerned, Tibits is prime real estate. Just off Regent Street, down a little side road sits this cool veggie bar. On sunny days, we strongly recommend taking advantage of the outdoor seating area to enjoy your meal. It's quieter than out in the chaos and subsequently more enjoyable.
To sum up: casual dining in a friendly environment, speedy and efficient staff, and food that'll draw you back time and time again. Even carnivores might be tempted to convert.
