I booked Smith & Wollensky for my birthday dinner with a group of 14, and we had a fantastic evening. The staff were friendly, attentive and made us feel very well looked after. They handled our large table smoothly, remembered everyone’s orders and dietary needs, and had good vegetarian options available. The food and drinks also arrived promptly. The atmosphere was lively but still quiet enough for us to chat comfortably. The food was excellent, and one of my friends’ T-bone steaks was finished with a flame at the table, which added a bit of theatre. I also received a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a lovely touch. We paid around £84 per person. It is not cheap, but the quality of the food, service and atmosphere made it worth it. I booked about a month in advance and would highly recommend it for a special occasion or large group.
Nice, chilled out place with polite and friendly staff. Quality food and service, comes at a premium price of course, but well worth it. Definitely coming back again.
A perfect dining experience. The atmosphere here is elegant and pleasant, and the entire restaurant is impeccably clean. The staff is great, providing warm and welcoming service from start to finish. The food was simply superb; the steaks were cooked to perfection, and all the side dishes were absolutely delicious.
This steakhouse delivers from start to finish , classy atmosphere, an excellent wine list, and wonderful staff who made the dining feel genuinely special. Staff were warm and welcoming throughout, making both dinner and lunch visits equally enjoyable. They have a 3 course lunch set around £30, it is a good chance to try. The reputation is well-earned and the food quality is genuinely impressive. Worth coming back for, whatever dinner and lunch hours.
Beautiful restaurant and craaazy good food!! Immediately loved the vibe and the restaurant itself is so gorgeous, it made me feel like I was in New York. Jeans and a nice top kid of place, and it’s not a very big place but it didn’t feel cramped. Had to get oysters to start, and that red sauce served with it is so addicting. Good selection of steak, we just got a big fillet to share with garlic butter (insane combo, 10/10) and a few sides. That was enough to fill us up but I heard about the cake so I knew we needed to see it for ourselves. It was hilariously humongous and it completely blew me away, just so good with the cream. Obviously couldn’t finish it but I can’t wait to have the leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. Thank you to all the staff for such a lovely night!!
