Second time coming here in the past year (first time was for brunch and it blew me away) this time was lunch. Wow. Literally another incredible experience in the books. Yes obvs the cutest restaurant and great food. But the SERVICE? Paloma was so lovely, so kind, great recommendations and even sent over a celebration plate for the birthday girl. She genuinely made it a fantastic dining experience. We left wishing we had cash on us to give her an American size tip. Paloma you deserve all the money and more. Thank you. Highlights: the mocktail menu is delicious- dove 42? Phenomenal Duck salad: so flavorful and unique The mashed potatoes might’ve been my favorite tbh. Perfect texture. Also the au poivre sauce they had for the steak might’ve been one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve only experienced au poivre with ground pepper in it, having the full peppercorn in the sauce made the flavor go crazy. So all in all a 10/10 as per usual. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in London xx This was the only picture that was taken cuz we were so busy off our phones and enjoying the meal.

The Ivy Café Blackheath is a beautiful venue, as is the case for The Ivy brand generally. The service was impeccable - very considered, helpful, polite and faultless. Which is a shame considering the quality of the food. The starter of Korean fried chicken was really good, but the sauce tasted like mustard. It detracted from the dish. The main of half chicken with peanut sauce was very disappointing. The chicken wasn’t cooked enough in my opinion. It tasted a bit flabby and the sauce was unremarkable. The chips were very average. Then the dessert of profiteroles with ice cream: by the time the dish reached the table, the ice cream had melted so it was just liquid cream. The profiteroles did not taste fresh and the chocolate on them was bitter. As was the coffee which was undrinkable. My friend's salmon was presented with no sauce and she was not impressed. What an enormous disappointment - the food took away from the excellent service. And it was extremely overpriced for what we received!

An amazing dining experience! Every dish was beautifully presented, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You can really tell that a lot of care and attention goes into every detail. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an outstanding meal. One tip: make a reservation in advance, especially if you’re planning to visit on a Sunday. The place was completely full, but it’s easy to see why!

Love it here! Went in for birthday breakfast and the staff were very attentive. Food lovely and nice vibe and decor. They even bought out a little cake with a candle! Will definitely visit again. Had eggs Benedict which was really nice and presented well, and tea, there was enough for 4 cups out of the pot, this was £15 for breakfast and tea which I thought was very reasonable.

The food here is excellent with a great selection of dishes. The steaks are fantastic, the calamari is delicious and the warm bread baskets are especially good. The staff are very attentive and friendly, and the service is quick while still making you feel well looked after. They really make sure you have a great experience. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with dark wood, marble surfaces and lots of plants throughout. Even the small details are thoughtfully done, such as the ivy leaf designs on the napkins. The toilets are also very clean and stylish with marble flooring, traditional style sinks and toilets, and decorative paintings. The location in Blackheath is very convenient and it is easy to reach by public transport or by car with parking nearby. Overall it is a lovely place for a meal with great food, excellent service and a beautiful setting.
