Established in 2004, Primrose Bakery originally catered for children’s parties. Yet, its popularity with adults led owners Martha Swift and Lisa Thomas to set up their own shops in London. Today they run two bakeries, one in Covent Garden and one in Primrose Hill.
Their products include regular cupcakes, wedding cakes, bloom cakes, layer cakes and cocktail cupcakes, as well as homemade croissants, pain au chocolats and biscuits. Enjoy your sweet delights inside the colourful café, or take them away and save them for later. Also inside the bakery is a small gift section selling a range of products including cookbooks, aprons, tea towels, and even dog treats!
Primrose Bakery run weekly cupcake decorating classes on Sundays, along with a number of themed classes such as Valentine's Day and Easter workshops. Regular classes last for 1.5 hours and cost £45pp; prices for themed classes may vary. Click here for further details.
