Sake No Hana
London
Right in the middle of the capital, Sake No Hana resides on St. James's Street, pulling in hungry eaters day after day. Inside, it's glowingly dark yet spacious and serves modern, unique dishes. The famous restaurateur, Alan Yau, opened this first class fine dining restaurant in 2007 and created a well composed menu catering for every diner’s taste.
The menu contains meals including the miso Chilean sea bass or the tuna with avocado and okra. The restaurant’s sushi and sashimi dishes are fairly priced and well prepared. Being a traditional Japanese restaurant, the drinks menu offers a wide selection of sake ranging from creamy to spicy and fruity options. The menu further provides a great list of French wine most of which is served by the bottle. The waiting staff is attentive, friendly and well informed.
Sake No Hana is modern and sophisticated. The dining area of the Sake No Hana features Japanese cedar tables with foot wells located on traditional tatamis. For those in favour of Japanese cuisine but not the seating accommodations, conventional western seating is provided for as well.
