Honestly this was the highlight meal of our time here. The atmosphere is charming and the food was so good. The darling bread with burrata and tomatoes was incredible! Do not skip the cookie dough dessert in the end. We will be back!!
At the end of a busy hot day visiting London we chanced on this almost grotto like gem. Superb service, fresh delicious food. We both ordered the fresh mussel 'soup' The anticipation was palpable as I hoped it was more mussel and less soup and how they delivered. Really flavoursome mussels by the bucket load. Then only I had room for more food so I ordered gnocchi, mozzarella and home made pesto. Again absolutely delicious. Would definitely eat again. All the chef's and most of the staff were Italian and their pride in their delicious food was apparent. Lovely place to eat and recuperate.
Some of the best pasta I’ve had! Very cold beer and garlic bread topped it off perfectly. If you’ve just done a morning strolling through Portobello Market, then this is a total gem of a restaurant for a great lunch. The vibe is also first class…I felt like I was in Italy for an hour 😍
We went here based off of reviews but we weren’t very impressed. The pasta was extremely average, the carbonara had a lot extra liquid and wasn’t authentic tasting. Painful for £20. Good burrata and bread selection. For Italian food in London, I would choose somewhere else.
