Where can I begin. It was my boyfriend and I first time at Sticks and Sushi and we are left speechless, at a loss for words in fact. We really treated ourselves with the set for success set menu. Every bite was delectable everything was out of this world. I honestly cannot recall having a better experience, the ambiance, the service, the staff was unmatched. We would highly recommend the grilled broccoli which had such a unique taste- who knew brócoli could taste so good. We urge you all to book a table immediately. WORTH EVERY PENNY!
We were a party of 6 who booked the bottomless brunch and had the best time! Our host, Malika, was fantastic. Our glasses were constantly being topped up and the food was incredible. Will be booking the brunch again!
I like the place. Breakfasts are lovely. Either trad English or Asian fusion. The avocado toast with miso sauce is sublime. As to dinner, the place gets very busy and is hip- the crowd is there to have a good time. The menu is wide, and tasty throughout. Try it.
Good quality Japanese fusion. Nicely decorated ambient, friendly staff. Music too loud - 1 star. Tip is optional but already added to the bill (12,5%) so - 1 star. We're not in the States.
Loved everything about this place! From the shout outs when you walk in to the lush food! The service was exceptional. Our waiter gave strong recommendations and was very attentive. He brought over some glasses of water as he anticipated we might be thirsty! I liked that you could order bits and pieces of everything on the menu, from sushi rolls, to sashimi, sticks and salad. Everything was delicious and so well presented. I was most impressed by the desert. In fact I was pleasantly surprised. I am not a big fan of dark chocolate, but this fondue with matcha filling was divine. It was a perfect balance of sweet and bitter, with a delightful green matcha oozing from the warm centre (image below)! I wish they had one of these down in the south west - maybe open one up in Exeter or Torquay please ??! ☺️
