Tierra Peru
London
Opening in 2012 as a little market stall in Camden named Aji del mono, Tierra Peru shared their dream with Londoners of showing Peruvian culture to the city through their food. After attracting locals and tourists alike with the delectable smells and authentic cuisine, the Tierra Peru restaurant was born in Islington. The restaurant builds on the days where it was in the market, sharing the finest selection of Peruvian dishes. Peruvian cuisine is one of the most diverse in the world, with 491 dishes available from a mix of influences.
The award-winning restaurant holds a modern and relaxed atmosphere that resembles what you may find in Lima itself. The food is hearty and full of flavour, as well as passion, with an extensive list of starters, mains, desserts and drinks being on offer. You can find a range of authentic fish, meat and vegetarian Peruvian dishes to satisfy anybody's taste buds such as creamy chicken cooked with walnuts and Peruvian spices or lamb stewed in a cilantro and stout sauce. Fish highlights include the pan fried seafood risotto (very tasty) and the hearty deep-fried battered fish. You won't find yourself going hungry here!
