Reviews
Walked into Tozi randomly as I was staring nearby and by the end of the evening thought I’d struck gold. The restaurant was beautiful, large, and imbued a calm atmosphere. Service was exceptional, not distant nor overbearing. Most importantly the food had fresh ingredients, with relatively few ingredients yet exceptional…as Italian should be. The avocado, radish and gem salad was refreshing, the carpaccio popped due to the pickled mushrooms and the black truffle ravioli was a flavor explosion. The star of the show was, however, the lemon ricotta tart suggested by the server. The crust was firm and flaky on the outside while the inside was moist, lemony and had candied lemons which were a delightful surprise. I ended up ordering a second for home. An amazing experience that I look forward to repeating soon.
Such a lovely dinner experience! Highly recommend the ragu, fish, ricotta and truffle ravioli and burrata. They even cooked a red sauce pasta for my sister (which wasn’t on the menu). The desserts/coffee are delicious as well. Definitely recommend coming after a theater show since it’s a quick jaunt away. The restaurant feels very open with high ceilings, lots of light, etc. Our server was wonderful, engaging and very friendly!
My friend and I came here for dinner before going to see Hamilton, and it was such a great dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the team were incredibly thoughtful, asking if we had a show to catch so they could make sure everything was served in good time and we could leave without feeling rushed. The food was delicious, fresh and full of flavour. It was also really filling and excellent value for money. We also had the pleasure of being looked after by Alvaro, who was not only hilarious but also incredibly attentive and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for somewhere to eat before a theatre show.
Fantastic experience. Relaxed, personal service. Our waiter was amazing and we were well looked after. Each dish was elevated, tasted fresh and healthy and made really well. The grilled asparagus with quail eggs and black truffle was amazing. As was the chocolate delice dessert, with a surprising hint of orange. Portion sizes were generous. We would've loved to have tried everything but will be back!
Second visit and somehow even better than the first with huge thanks to Andreas, our outstanding waiter, who looked after us brilliantly from start to finish. We went for the pre‑theatre menu (2 courses £23 +£6 to add-on dessert) and shared a mega portion of perfectly crisp zucchini fritti and a delicious beetroot salad to start. For mains, the parmigiana was very good, the roast chicken less so, though the potatoes were great. Dessert absolutely redeemed everything with the pistachio tiramisu remains exceptional and the chocolate delice was solid too. The Negroni was also fantastic. Another fantastic experience at TOZI. Previous visit Sept 2025: Came for a work lunch — the black truffle ricotta ravioli was outstanding and the pistachio tiramisu was amazing. Great service. A must visit Italian in Victoria.
